A set of interactive pages that , on the one hand, offers the user (basicly learners of English as a foreign language) the opportunity to get acquainted with the standard forms (2nd form, 3rd form, -s form and -ing form) of all regular and the majority of irregular English verbs, practice them or check his/her skills in writing them, with special attention to spelling; on the other hand, help him/her to cope with the great deal of possible combinations of persons (subject), tenses (simple present/past/future, present/past/future perfect, present/past/future continuous, present/past/futur perfect continuous), voices (active/passive) and other functional or formal aspects (affirmative/negative, declarative/interrogative, full/shortened forms). The background to the verb forms is a more than 12 thousand items database. If requested to conjugate a verb (or other word) that is not included in its database, the program gives the possible forms of this supposed verb on the basis of the formal points of reference the user has offered. Nevertheless, it indicates that the "verb" in question does not appear in its verb list.
